Carissa + Nathan | Engaged

Carissa was one of the first people I met when Josh and I moved to Columbus. She and her family attended the church that Josh worked at and were heavily involved with the music, which is where Josh and I found ourselves! We got to know their family well and at the time, Carissa was a senior in high school. She was the sweetest person you’d ever meet, a little shy (which I could totally relate to) but with the kindest and most soft, gracious heart. I met Nathan soon afterwards, a goofy guy with a mischievous look in his eye and as loyal as they come.

Fast forward a few years, and Carissa has graduated from college and is starting her first year as a kindergarten teacher! But that’s not the only big change in her life… after surviving and thriving through years of long distance, she and Nathan are engaged!!! He proposed in Hawaii on the trip of a lifetime and caught her totally by surprise. They are so excited to begin their life together next summer and I’m so excited to be the one capturing it!

Carissa and Nathan, I’ve loved seeing you grow into the amazing adults you both are today and I’m so excited for your wedding day!
