Lauren + PJ | Married

From the moment I first met Lauren and PJ on Google Hangouts, I knew we were a perfect match for their wedding day! They were so easygoing, happy, and you could tell that they were genuinely SO EXCITED to get married! We met in person just a few days before their wedding at Northstar Cafe, and I left that meeting energized, filled with delicious coffee, and fully convinced that this couple was way cooler than me. But that’s a story for another day 😉

On to their wedding day! Their ceremony at the Hyatt Regency hotel downtown was one of the sweetest I’ve witnessed in a while- each of them shared heartfelt teary vows that spoke volumes of their fierce love for one another, and the energy they have is just contagious! PJ and Lauren had a huge bridal party and had reserved the Fun Bus to transport us all over downtown Columbus, and we had a blast traveling from the hotel and Convention Center down to Goodale Park for portraits, to the Cantina bar where they first met (waiting for a cab on the sidewalk! How sweet is that?!), to the Boathouse for the cocktail hour and reception. From PJ & Lo’s first dance, to PJ’s surprise dance with his grandmother, to the toasts and speeches, and straight into open dancing, the party never stopped. I loved hearing about all the adventures these two have together and am so excited to see what they do next! I know I keep saying this, but their love is so fierce and authentic, and I love that their passion comes through in their images! Congratulations to this beautiful couple 🙂

Lauren opened a gift just before she walked down the aisle that contained an gorgeous pair of earrings from PJ. She didn’t even hesitate before removing the earrings she was wearing and replacing them with the ones her husband-to-be had given to her. This was such a sweet reminder that the wedding day is to celebrate the love shared between two people, not about all the glitz, glamour, and preparation!
