Shannon + Rick | Engaged

If you’re a regular follower, you’ll know that Josh and I are Columbus newbies, relatively speaking. That means that when Shannon and Rick decided they wanted engagement portraits done in the stadium, I knew that would be my first time stepping inside! First of all… WOW! The stadium is massive, and it feels even bigger when you’re the only ones there. But what an adventure! We were fighting a bit of rain and wind, but you’d never know it! When you have the chance to shoot in an amazing location like this, you make it work!

We didn’t really have a spot planned for the second half of their engagement session because the stadium was the definitely priority, so we ended up driving across campus just a little and ended up in a little nook filled with brick buildings, a cement pathway, and tons of greenery. What else do you need?! It was perfect. Shannon and Rick really loosened up during the second half of their session too (probably because we didn’t have to yell at each other from halfway across a football field), and I absolutely love the natural images we were able to achieve! Their personalities and love for each other began to shine through, and it made me so excited for their wedding at Jorgensen Farms next year. Enjoy my favorites of this amazing couple!
