Sarah + Tye | Married

I’ve been so excited to blog these images ever since Sarah and Tye’s wedding less than two weeks ago! The new Mr. and Mrs. Johnson are just the sweetest couple, a mix of fun and giggles wrapped up with a ton of class and elegance. From the sweet moment that Sarah and her mom shared as she helped her into her elegant gown, to the moment Sarah’s bridesmaids laid eyes on her for the first time… from the prayers that covered Sarah before she walked across the lawn on her father’s arm, to the moment when Tye could embrace his new wife for the first time. Every moment was perfect.

For all their immense amounts of class (see Sarah’s blue high heels, swept back up-do and berry lipstick), these two don’t hold back emotion when they are around each other. Their faces turn to smiles, laughter, and resolute fierce love for one another. It is plain that Tye will do just about anything for Sarah, and she for him. Their strong values and understanding of love and friendship was made plain in the speeches given by the best man and maid of honor, and each moment shared with friends and family was memorable and precious.

When most people imagine an outdoor wedding, they think of burlap, boots, and country music. Not so with Sarah and Tye’s wedding day! Their theme was consistent with what a person might find at a high-end yacht club overlooking the water, save for the mac-and-cheese bar and chicken & waffles (hellooo. SO YUMMY!!!). It was the perfect combination of casual and elegance, relaxed yet classy at the same time, and if given the opportunity, I would live it over and over again. Sarah and Tye, it was such a blessing to be a part of your wedding! The two of you have a dynamic future ahead of you, I have no doubt. Thank you for choosing me to tell your story!
