Maranda + Aaron | Engaged

Where do I start? Maranda and Aaron are SUCH a sweet couple, and I absolutely loved spending a chilly December afternoon with them last week! The weather was freezing and windy, but we were blessed with a few snowflakes to make it all worthwhile 😉 These two are such an amazing couple, and you can tell from just spending a few minutes with them that they have a heart for service. Maranda works for a non-profit and Aaron is a police officer, and if they put as much care into their jobs as they do in their marriage, we are all better off for it!

Maranda and Aaron’s love story is unique, because they’ve been together for five years but actually been legally married since last year! However, they’ve set aside a Saturday next summer (almost exactly on their two-year anniversary!) to renew their vows celebrate their marriage with their family and friends. I cannot wait to witness and capture their amazing day! We joked about having an engagement session for the married couple, and you also hear people talk about how the spark goes away after the rings go on… but if you’re a skeptic, Maranda and Aaron are living proof that you can be married and year and still be totally in love. I love shooting anniversary sessions for this same reason, because marriage is a commitment that deserves to be honored and celebrated!
