For the entire week leading up to Dani and Logan’s weddings, the weather app on my own showed just one thing… raaaaiiiinnnn. All the rain. Rain to the extent where I was fully convinced that I would have to finally use the dozen umbrellas that ride around in my car on EVERY WEDDING DAY, just in case. And in true Ohio fashion, the rains came…. and went. We had drizzle in the morning and it rained all the way through the ceremony, but during portrait time, the weather had cleared and we were able to do all their portraits down at the Scioto Mile with no extra hassle! Throughout it all, Dani and Logan were completely calm. I don’t think Dani even mentioned the weather once; she knew it would all work out in the long run, and she was absolutely right!

When you first meet Dani and Logan, they are a sweet couple who love to laugh together. But on their wedding day, it was such a blessing to see a few layers deeper and observe how much their families truly love them, and how much they share the love in return. Dani’s wedding dress originally belonged to her dear aunt, a touching detail that no one could have known had they not seen the photograph in her memory dangling from Dani’s bouquet. During the speeches, Dani’s father held back tears as he spoke to Logan about his precious daughter, and told him, “You will wake up every day the most beautiful woman in the world, and I know you’re going to take care of her.”

Dani and Logan, thank you for trusting me with your wedding day memories! Your journey is unique, and each of you has found someone wise, selfless, and full of life to spend your years with. Cherish one another every day, and my hope is that these images will continually take you back to the wonderful beginning of your time as husband and wife.
