Alisha and Andy’s wedding was special to me for so many reasons! They were one of few couples who chose to proceed with their original wedding day as planned, despite the pandemic. They did it in the best way possible- with grace, class, and without a single complaint. Alisha’s vision of a soft blush and rose gold wedding on the perfect summer day came true, and she and Andy were a vision of joy and happiness all day long.
During a time where the world is experiencing so much uncertainty, Andy and Alisha’s love for each other and their commitment to celebrate safely brought a certainty that permeated the entire day straight through to the reception. They wore masks throughout much of their reception, and the guests followed their example and also wore masks whenever they were up from their tables. I also have to give a shoutout to the vendors who worked Andy and Alisha’s wedding- we wore masks essentially the entire day and I didn’t hear one complaint. As Covid weddings go, this was a dream celebration!
Andy and Alisha, I’m so happy you were able to celebrate your marriage the way you originally intended- even if there were some slight modifications. You and your families were such a joy to be around, and the photos we took around the city are honestly some of my favorites EVER!!! Enjoy these favorites from your amazing wedding day!
Thank you to all the vendors who made Alisha and Andy’s wedding day possible!
