I feel like I’ve been bouncing up and down with excitement over my keyboard when prepping this blog post! Maybe it’s the giant cup of coffee coursing through my veins, but all I know is that Theresa and Jozy’s wedding day was beautiful and I’m so excited to share these images. One of my favorite parts of any wedding is seeing how the color scheme pulled into the flowers and decor reflects the bride’s style and personality. Last week’s wedding was full of bright corals and wildflowers, and Theresa’s color scheme was just the opposite! She brought in beautiful white and ivory florals to compliment the muted taupe bridesmaids gowns, with pops of baby blue in the reception decor. The simplicity added the perfect amount of elegance and softness to the stunning backdrop of Irongate Equestrian Center. It was just perfect!
Speaking of perfect, can we just talk about Theresa and Jozy– and basically their entire wedding day? Theresa is a strong, absolutely stunning woman who can’t get enough of her man; Jozy brings a spontaneous, care-free spirit to their relationship and is always there for Theresa at every moment she needs him. Their wedding day had so many touching moments, the most memorable of which was Theresa’s first dance with her brother Dante in lieu of their father’s passing many years ago. So much of the wedding day honored her father’s memory, and I know he would have been so proud of who his little girl has become and the man she chose to marry. From the touching readings during the ceremony to the traditional Italian “Grand March” during the reception, every detail was cared for and respected in the very best way, and it was such a joy to capture. I hope you enjoy the story of Theresa and Jozy’s wedding day!
