When I remember Brittinay & Michael’s wedding, my mind jumps immediately to the first looks that Brittinay shared with the three most important men in her life. Her brother and man of honor was first (laughter accompanied this interaction), followed by tears with her father, and then a mixture of both when she first saw Michael. These two were married last year in very small ceremony, but this year they pulled out all the stops and celebrated with all their friends and family at their dream wedding.
Brittinay was crowned Miss Maryland in 2018, and with her pageant experience, she’s no stranger to fancy gowns. But when she emerged arm in arm with her father to walk down the aisle in her stunning Sareh Nouri gown with statement bow on the back, there was an audible gasp in the room. The reaction may have been exaggerated thanks to her exquisite song choice (the end credits from Father of the Bride), but either way, the moment was perfect and will be one I remember for a long time. Michael, you are one lucky guy.
Photographing this gorgeous celebration was such an honor and privilege. Brittinay was a gem from the moment we first spoke, carrying herself with incredible grace and confidence. Their vendor team came together to create a magical day that I won’t soon forget! It was also my first experience working with Something Borrowed Blooms, the most beautiful artificial flowers I’ve ever seen. They were the perfect choice for a bitterly cold wedding day where so many real blooms would have wilted in the frigid weather. Nina Marie Weddings kept the entire day running smoothly, and I had a blast working with Hitched Creative for videography- a last minute surprise for Michael! Lastly, the reception wouldn’t have been the same without the one and only Josh Staley. I may be biased since I get to be married to him, but he reads a dance floor like no one else and the energy never stopped all night long. What. A. Party. Their full vendor team is linked below!
Enjoy some of my favorites from their beautiful day and feel free to keep scrolling through it again and again… that’s what I’ve found myself doing. Congratulations Brittinay and Michael!
