Michelle & Keaton | 12.22.19

Michelle and Keaton’s wedding day wrapped up an incredible 2019 wedding season, and there’s no one I would have rather spent that time with! From the moment Michelle and I sat down over coffee at Fox in the Snow, it felt like talking with an old friend. She and Keaton both teach high school (something I thought would be my career for a long time!). They are fun-loving, sweet, and care deeply for their family and friends. Their wedding was a huge celebration of over 200 people, packing out Oak Grove at Jorgensen Farms, and it was such a amazing day from start to finish!

Most couples who get married in December dream of a winter wonderland. Michelle and Keaton, on the other hand, were hoping for sunny mild weather right in the middle of their school’s winter break- and that’s exactly what they got! The weather was sunny and gorgeous, crisp enough to still feel like December but warm enough that Michelle opted out of wearing her fur wrap to show off more of her gorgeous gown. Their vision for their wedding was “classy Christmas,” and that’s exactly what they delivered! Guests signed gorgeous red and gold ornaments in lieu of a guestbook, and Michelle’s bridesmaids wore beautiful emerald green dresses accented by white bouquets with red berries sprinkled in. The tables were decorated with gold candles and greenery, and the mood was high-energy and festive all night long!

One of the most memorable moments of Keaton & Michelle’s wedding day happened during speeches, when Keaton’s best man spilled the details a hilarious story from their youth (let’s just say a chainsaw was involved). The room roared with laughter, and it really showed how adored these two are by their family and friends. Michelle and Keaton, thank you for inviting me to tell your beautiful story! Your wedding was a memory I’ll treasure forever, and I’m so happy for you both!
