One year minus one day after their original wedding day passed… Rachel and Jason finally experienced their dream wedding celebration with family and friends! While their intimate wedding ceremony at the end of 2020 began their lifelong marriage adventure, it couldn’t quite capture everything they wanted- they wanted to CELEBRATE. Personally, I’m all for elaborate, over-the-top weddings, because marriage is a big deal and something to shout from the rooftops! This year, one day shy of their first anniversary, Rachel and Jason renewed their marriage vows in front of 200 of their closest family and friends in the party an entire year in the making. They wanted it to feel like a wedding- the best wedding ever- and their deepest desire was for all their friends and family to have an amazing time. Mission accomplished!
Rachel and Jason had one of the largest wedding parties I’ve ever photographed- it included over 25 people including the multiple flower girls and ring bearers! But if you ever get a chance to meet them, you’ll immediately understand why. Their genuine spirits, Rachel’s contagious smile, and Jason’s sense of humor are only a few of the reasons they are held dear in so many people’s hearts. This day was so much fun to capture and it was a long time coming; their engagement session was my first session back after quarantine, and I was still pregnant and in my second trimester! Today as I post this, I have an almost sixteen-month-old. Life is wild, but it keeps on moving, and this celebration was worth the wait. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Luthman… again!!! 🙂
Thank you to Rachel & Jason’s amazing vendor team!
