Megan + Jacob | Engaged

I don’t even know where to begin with Megan and Jake! Let me back up six years for you… it’s 2012, I was in college at Cedarville, and Josh and I had just started dating. I had been looking for a church home, and as soon as I stepped into Centerville Christian Fellowship, I was immediately surrounded by people who were friendly and genuinely cared about me and the things that were happening in my life. Two of those people were Megan’s parents. They took us out to lunch one Sunday, and a year later I found myself in their home for Easter dinner when I didn’t have another place to go. Sweet Megan was in high school at the time, and I remember thinking that she was so kind, joyful, and mature for her age. Fast forward to present day, and Megan is getting MARRIED to an amazing guy she met at Cedarville… but they actually got to know each other in SPAIN during an overseas semester. How amazing is that?!

I’ll share more of their story when they get married later this year, but for now, all you need to know is that these two love each other so incredibly much… and they love caring for others. They are both preparing for careers in the medical profession and are adventurous, sweet, and humble. It was rare to find a moment during their session without smiles dancing across their faces, and it was so special to explore the area around Cedarville that all three of us have called home. They may have even jumped into a waterfall at the end of our session… but you’re just going to have to scroll to see!
