Kelly & Greg | 7.14.18

My apologies if this page has taken a few minutes to load… because this blog post is HUGE!!! Kelly and Greg’s wedding goes in the top five weddings I’ve ever photographed, and if I were to plan a wedding today, I would take a few notes from Kelly’s color palette. The bright pinks and corals popped beautifully against the lavender bridesmaids’ gowns, and I could have photographed Kelly’s bouquet ALL DAY LONG. Talk about gorgeous!! But there’s more of their story to be told, so I’ll let the flowers speak for themselves 😉

From the moment I arrived on Kelly and Greg’s wedding day, the only expression on anyone’s face was a smile. The girls were sitting together laughing and chatting in matching robes, and you could tell that everyone was so excited for the day ahead. Kelly’s mom and sister helped her into her gown, and we headed over to the Park of Roses for Greg and Kelly’s first look. When I met Greg there, he too was all smiles. Handsome and dressed in classic black and white, his face lit up when he saw his bride. We were joined by the bridal party and then family, and no one complained about doing outdoor photos on such a hot July day! We were able to finish all their portraits before ceremony time, leaving them the remainder of the evening to celebrate and relax with family and friends. We snapped a few “just married” bride and groom portraits right after they said their vows, and then the rest of the evening was a breeze. It was the perfect day!

Kelly and Greg, every moment we spent together, I noticed how you make each other smile. You are both such strong people and I truly believe you are stronger together! You had told Josh and me that on your big day, you wanted to celebrate your love and dance the night away with your best friends, and that’s exactly what you did. We had so much fun with your guests and know that they will love you well as you embark on your marriage journey! I hope you enjoy re-living your wedding day through this blog post!
