Meghan + Ty | 6.23.18

Meghan and Ty’s wedding was truly a joy to photograph! When I first met up with Meghan and her bridesmaids, they had just finished lunch and were all smiles. The weather was beautiful; a little hot, but so much better than the expected storms and rain that had been looming the day before! “I can’t believe it’s finally here!” Megan said. She was right; it seemed like ages ago that we met at Indian Run Falls for their engagement session, but then again, it could have just been yesterday. Meghan and Ty have known each other since high school, so for them, this day had been a long time coming.

According to the Pantone color of the year, purple is in for 2018 and I can’t say I’m mad about it. The color palette for Meghan and Ty’s wedding day was absolutely breathtaking; the mauve purple dresses accented with the greenery from the surrounding trees and neutral of the stone fireplace in the ballroom struck the perfect chord. I loved every thoughtful detail, from the embroidered bridesmaids tops to the gorgeous bracelet that Ty gave Meghan to wear down the aisle. And the thoughtfulness extended far beyond the decor; every member of their bridal party was so polite and fun to be around, and it was apparent that the friends these two have made will be friends for life. Ty even made a point to thank everyone for coming! It was truly a blessing to bear witness to their marriage, and Meghan and Ty, I’m so excited for you as you begin this next adventure.
