A Waters Edge Wedding in Shades of Purple

The weather for Taylor and John’s wedding at WatersEdge last Sunday was absolutely perfect… warm sun, no rain, and the slightest hint of a fall breeze. Their ceremony was short and sweet, out by the water under a beautiful white floral arch. When Taylor walked down the aisle towards her groom, John’s face was fully relaxed and you could see the joy and confidence in his face. The day they’d been waiting for was finally here!

The most memorable moments for me happened during the reception. John’s best man Kevin talked about their childhood days reenacting Lord of the Rings, and how their friendship carried through all the way to adulthood when John, stationed as a US Marine in North Carolina, met a sweet girl with a southern accent who worked at the Piggly Wiggly. That girl was Taylor, and here we are years later and these two are getting married alongside their closest friends and family back in Ohio! Taylor shared not only a special dance with her dad, but also with her grandfather. I loved capturing those moments and it was such a beautiful day.
