Our Maternity Portraits | Charleston, South Carolina

There are days it’s hard to believe that in TWO MONTHS (and shrinking), we’re going to be parents. We traveled to Charleston earlier this month so I could attend Hope Taylor‘s mastermind retreat, which was an adventure in itself thanks to COVID-19 plus the riots that had rocked the city literally just before we arrived. Josh drove me down so I could avoid airports and traveling alone (a recommendation from my OB at this stage in my pregnancy), and after spending multiple months basically at home, the road trip felt SO refreshing!! We sanitized all along the way and had an afternoon to explore Charleston together before the retreat began. It was such an amazing experience and I’m so glad we were able to make the trip! Hope, thank you so much for everything you did to ensure that we all stayed safe and still had an unforgettable time!

Right before we headed for home, Hope took maternity portraits for us at Hampton Park in the heart of Charleston. Josh and I love to travel and experience new places- Josh loves to experience the culture, shopping, and food, while I’m obsessed with beautiful landscapes. I absolutely love the huge trees and Spanish moss that are hallmark characteristics of the south, and I’m so glad we got to capture them in these precious memories just before our lives shift to welcome our new addition. Only nine weeks until baby is scheduled to arrive… we can’t wait to meet you baby boy!

Thank you Hope Taylor for these memories!
